Our bar originally opened in Higashi-Ikebukuro in April 2001 as "The Bar Gentle." Then, in March 2017, we relocated to Minami-Ikebukuro. At that time, we changed our name to "The Gentle, a Small but Fine Wine Bar." We strive to provide a little treat, a touch of luxury, delivering both delicious food and enjoyable experiences.
Our bar opened in Higashi-Ikebukuro as “The Bar Gentle” in April 2001.
In March 2017, We moved to Minami -Ikebukuro.At that time, The bar name was changed to "Small Bar The Gentle".
Pursuing a little reward, A little luxury, And We will give “delicious” and “fun” for our customers.

Our shop is located in a detached house, a short distance from the bustling downtown area of Ikebukuro.
And it's inspired by art museums. The concept is "an art museum in a corner of the city, with a secret bar inside."
